
Hello everyone!
It’s always nice to refresh yourself in the new features of a product, hence we from #vRA4U is adopting now VMware Cloud Services, which most of us just call CAS (Cloud Automation Services) which was the old name and now replaced by vRealize Automation cloud 🙂

What will you learn
Objective of this blog post is guide you step-by-step in each phase of setting up your vRealize Cloud Services to communicate primarily with vSphere On-Premise environment, guiding you through along from initiat setup, basic blueprints creation, virtual machine deployment until more complex blueprints and features from Cloud Services.
Required Knowledge, Resources & Platform Access
- vSphere
- vSphere environment to host deployments (vCenter/ Computer power / Storage)
- Deploying OVA
- VM Template available ( Windows/Linux/Etc)
- Knowledge of Network / Port groups / DHCP / Fixed IP
- CODING/YAML
- If have seen it before, it will help
- If not, don’t worry we will go slow on it.
- Cloud Automation Services
- Access to services or request a trial
- if you have vRealize Automation On-Prem can also be used instead.
- Extras
- It may take you about 1:00 – 2:00 hours all step further in a lab.
At end of series, you will have reach something similar to image below, although with a very good understand of each of the step taken during the process.
