vRealize Automation Cloud – Cloud Assembly – Setup a new Cloud Account

Once you have seen my previous blog <here> and all the pre-requisites are in place; it’s time to getting started with vRealize Automation Cloud.

Pre-Requisite for this blog step:

Setup a new Cloud Proxy

Setup a new Cloud Account

Cloud accounts within Cloud Assembly can be seen as “hosting platforms”. All of them basically follow the same theory, where allow us to select Compute, Storage, Images, Sizes, etc during later configurations we will do.

For now, please select vSphere Cloud Endpoint

Fulfill with all the details from previous Proxy Appliance deployed.

Once you click on “validate the connection”, the connection will be tested and validated. If you have a self-signed certificate, you will get a prompt to accept it.

TIP: Don’t forget to select the Data center and “Create a cloud zone”.

Your Cloud Account will be created with succees.
